First I would say my hands are a bit larger than usual for a man. Just from the handshake I feel I would say. The length of my hand from the base of my palm to the tip of my ring finger is 7 3/4 inches. So I wasn't sure what size glove to buy. Big or very big? I chose size L because I wanted to make sure they were a snug fit around me as nothing bothers me more when wearing gloves than not being able to grip something properly with a loose glove. They fit me perfectly! Tight but not difficult to put on hands. The overall feeling is great. All fingers fit the same, no deviations. The first time I used them for cooking. This is the main reason for my purchase, cooking. I opened the meat bag and prepared it for seasoning. Then I washed my gloved hands with soap and dried them. The gloves showed no signs of wear, so I used them to prepare and season the meat, then washed my gloved hands again. Even after washing hands twice with HOT water, the gloves showed no signs of wear. I finished cooking the meat and just to test the gloves I washed them over and over again and again they showed ZERO signs of wear. At this point I didn't take off my gloves and tried to use my iphone and surprisingly THEY WORKED WITH THE TOUCH SCREEN. These gloves are great and I have recommended them to my BBQ friends. I will definitely buy more when they run out. I can't recommend her more!
