I have an LG 27 inch with pretty much the same specs as this 31.5 inch monitor. Both are free of dead pixels and unwanted defects. I have set the magnification of this monitor to 350% in the windows display settings and can see clearer on this screen than anything else. I realized that the monitor can't be any bigger because it's at the edge of my field of vision (i.e. a bigger monitor forces me to move my head from left to right to see the whole thing). The clarity of large and small objects is excellent. I can even read fine print. The only issue that is probably not related to this monitor is that Firefox has been crashing frequently since installing it. I also installed a new graphics card (with 4K resolution) at the same time and Windows had a major update, so I don't know what's causing the problem.
