Husky earplugs - almost perfect

I had a husky. I had WeatherTech. The reason I'm going back to the Husky is twofold. First, when I write to them, they reply to me. I have written to WeatherTech three times to complain. You never answered. Once they got my money, they didn't care about me. So you won't get any more money from me. Another reason I prefer the Husky is that the spikes on the back hold the mat in place really well. The WeatherTech passenger liner in my 2015 Ford Escape just slipped out from under your boots when boarding. Terrible design. So why didn't I give the Husky 5 stars? Holes for rug hooks. Mine looked like they had been drilled out with a horribly old drill. Lots of shredded material around the hole. And as others have said the holes are not big enough for the hooks. You will end up tearing the liner material if you try to push them through. Jeep uses holes over 1 inch in diameter in its floor mats. Husky used holes about 7/16" in diameter. I ended up using a special PVC drill, very sharp, to enlarge the holes. Unfortunately, one hole deviated slightly and tore part of the surrounding moat wall at the rear of the holes out. But it's still workable. I disagree with reviewers who claim that the hook holes are intentionally small to prevent water seeping through. There is also a moat wall around the hook hole.
