No bass as stated in other reviews. I used a 2011 Kia Optima and one of the speaker adapters available from Revain. The adapter wasn't needed, he held the speaker where he wanted, marked the holes. I drilled holes and screwed them directly into the speaker enclosure. There are no problems with depth, there is plenty of space. And the door removal tools only cost $8, not $80-$120 for installation. Installation took about 45 minutes, so don't be afraid to install it yourself. The money is better spent on beer.
