I've tried all kinds of knives and choppers and most of them either broke or had other problems. I tried it on some of my salad greens tonight and wow it cleans well. Well to be honest I couldn't tell much of a difference between a single blade and one of the dual knife blades other than being able to cut thicker slices. Perhaps the only difference is the angle at which the knife is held. But they all worked very well and both ways! These are the guards. hope they hold up!
