Review on 🏄 DORSAL 15 FT Black Tie Down Straps for Surfboard, Kayak, SUP, and Surf Roof Rack (Set of 2) by Jonathan Ulsth

These straps are long enough to attach a kayak OR canoe to a car. The buckles feel strong and the soft buckle protector protects your car/boat from scratches. Compared to the Thule straps my friend uses, these straps feel flimsy - the straps are much lighter and the weave is looser. I don't think it really matters because the straps don't get that much tension. The biggest downside to a lighter strap is that the tips wear out after a season. I will most likely use an old knife heated over a flame to re-cauterize. All in all, not bad if you don't mind etching the ends every now and then.
