Review on πŸ“± CHUNGHOP L102 Learning Remote Control: TV/SAT/DVD/CBL/CD/DVB-T for Samsung LG Sony Philips Copy - Effortless Universal Control by Jim Chick

Revainrating 5 out of 5

good learning remote but sometimes copies the button when double clicked

How: Intuitive programming method. Dislikes: Sometimes the L102 remote learns double-tap. For example, a decrease in volume was learned as a click, which was fine, but then Volume+ was recorded as a two-bar increase in volume. Pressing the mute button twice is equivalent to doing nothing. Can be fixed by reprogramming the button, ensuring that the code display flashes immediately when the source remote button is pressed, and then releasing the copied button as quickly as possible. Sometimes copying needs to be repeated 3.4 times until the timing is perfect, and the code display will flicker once the original remote button is pressed. ** Another negative: I had a SoundSource soundbar and lost the remote control. I was still able to increase/decrease the volume using the Android app and the Xiaomi Redmi Note with built-in IR blaster. But unfortunately the L102 couldn't copy the soundbar codes from the Android phone's IR blaster, so I couldn't control my TV and soundbar with the same remote control. Maybe it's not L102, but the fact that the Android application is not entirely compatible with some protocols.
