I bought them on sale for $18,000 and don't really regret it, though I definitely would have regretted paying full price for them because of the way they sound. These headphones look like a prototype for some amazing new technology. Everyone talks about marriage in their writing, but I didn't hear any rustling or squeaking until I came across it. Benefits include: I've always been a huge fan of the Hyper X headsets, but these are the first pair of cans I've tried that deliver truly remarkable sound quality across a wide range of musical genres, from electronic to instrumental pieces. After wearing it for over a month, I can still get goosebumps from the song. The poor quality of the execution is a drawback. If I didn't know them and they hadn't shown me, I could have thought it was a special font. A pretty stiff headband, they sit securely yet there is persistent irritation from their presence on the head. A work in progress that hasn't been Russified.
