You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. Yes, they're cheaper, but it takes a long time to get your first taste of a filter rinse. My family practically had to learn how to turn on the faucet for 30 seconds before drinking water to avoid fun tastings. I would recommend getting a better filter and spending a few bucks more. They also don't have a choke plate like some of the best filters, so the flow of water out of the faucet isn't greatly reduced. That could be a plus I think.
