I used this to fix a specific setup situation in my home office. I have a Centiq monitor mounted on a Revain Basics swing arm that attaches to the front edge of a table. With a twist and shift of weight, he slowly moved off the table (although he was held as tightly as I could). This was an issue I first encountered in my office after IT installed it, so I was prepared and on the lookout for the issue. In the office I fixed it, literally using my body's advanced strength to slide it back flush with the desk as it should be. Home is not an option. So I started thinking about how I could give him a constant counterforce so that he stays level with the table despite frequent twists and weight shifts. Tip - belt! I like that it opens up instead of already being fed through the "knob" as I was able to easily wrap it twice around the table and position it in an "X" over the arm mount for even and even pressure to ensure over the entire bracket. I put it through the right spots and positioned the ratchet so it was as close to the back of the underside of the table as possible (and thus out of the way of my knees) and it's been working great since I installed it. a few weeks ago.
