I have been buying this particular Whey Protein / Bluebonnet for about three years now. I too was impressed by the mild vanilla flavor, the natural taste, lightly sweetened with stevia. With the last bottle I just ordered, two things immediately struck me as I ripped the paper wrapper off the bottle cap. (1) the shape of the spoon was changed, and (2) the color of the powder was noticeably more yellow than before and became creamy. Feeling a little apprehensive, I continued to use it in my post-lift smoothie at the usual amount of 1 to 1.5 scoops, mixed with fruit, almond milk, and factory repair powder. The taste was immediately off the profile. The mix used to have a very, very pleasant taste of almost melted vanilla ice cream, now it has become "chemical" or somehow harsh in nature. I will be contacting Bluebonnet to see if they have indeed changed the source of any of the supplements they use in their whey protein. The color seems a little off, or maybe I just got "out of" the bottle. However, the fact that the scoop has changed tells me there is something wrong with the possible change. If it's changed in any way, that's a shame as it really was my favorite whey protein.
