Review on ๐Ÿฆ… Kool Stop Eagle Claw II Cantilever Bike Brake Pads by Matt Kovacevic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent stopping power for my cantilever.

I didn't try Kool Stop brakes until I bought and installed them. I will compare them to XLC cantilever pads (1/2 price for 2 pairs). It fits the ad. I ordered 2 pairs. They were easy to assemble and the instructions were good. If you get the toe angle and flatness right, you'll really get a lot of power out of them. I installed them just before writing this review. They're not broken in yet, but after walking up and down the driveway, I immediately noticed that the braking power is pretty damn strong. Just like a good V-brake is strong. To be honest they are a lot stronger than the XLC. Sorry XLC, I think I'll switch to Kool Stop. Haven't hit the track with these pads yet so will break them in and be back with an update soon. 5 stars so far, no problems so far.
