This yarn is really soft. Super soft! And it's pretty pretty too. The color variation is negligible and the color varies not only along the yarn length but also in the weave of the yarn warp. I just started playing with it, with knitting needles and also crochet. It works equally well with both. As you can see, the yarn is not bulky, but it is not small either. It will make a nice light hat, scarf or plaid. And at this price I think it's an absolute bargain! 1,000 ft per cake is enough to complete almost any project you want (unless you're planning a big roll). This yarn seems much more expensive than it is. And the variety of colors gives you limitless choices! I plan to buy more immediately.
