Excellent for tracing even on thick watercolor paper. The "on" switch was initially temperamental and I had trouble turning the light on. When the screen lights up, it's very bright and very effective. This works very well for my needs. With the "on" switch being a bit tricky when first starting up, I hope it continues to work well for me because I really like it. Update: In response to my review, the seller offered to replace the light board or give me a refund. I didn't find it necessary because the light board works. The seller insisted and refunded the price. It's clear, that the seller values good customer service and wants their customers to be happy. Thanks to. I don't see it happening very often. Many Thanks.
