Hammer doesn't work properly otherwise good toy

Hammer does not balance vertically at all as noted by at least one other reviewer. Otherwise a decent toy. My 3 year old just plays with the details for how they feel, not necessarily how they're intended. This is a very flexible set that can be rearranged in different ways, so we avoid using a hammer.
