These are very simple devices. They need to be calibrated before you can use them. So you first need to deflate one of your tires (the spare tire in my case) to your desired off-road pressure, and then individually place each of these devices on that tire. To calibrate the devices, simply turn the dial until the air stops flowing. It is then calibrated to the desired tire pressure. Because you get 4 in a pack, you can calibrate one pair for one pressure and another pair for another pressure, giving you 2 sets of deflators for different off-road conditions. Just label them clearly. But they are very easy to use.
