I bought the Dog ProMax last year when it first came out because of the bad news from Seresto. I have had no problems using the Dog ProMax collar on my pups and was so happy that Hartz released the Cat ProMax collar to try out for my cat. When I opened the package I was not disappointed! It was soft and flexible, like a ProMax dog collar, and quite purple in color. I put it on my cat and she didn't seem concerned or try to take the collar off. I've noticed that there is a small area on the collar that breaks/tears when my cat gets snagged on something, which gives me comfort because I never know what trouble she'll get into when she goes outside. Having not had any flea or tick problems with ProMax dog collars, I hope this collar will do the same! So far I'm happy with my purchase knowing I paid way less than what the vet is selling for a tick treatment with the same protection.
