This is my second mini press and the least popular of the two. First, the temperature change takes some getting used to. My other press only has a slider and useful presets. It's push and hold and weird increments that don't make sense with the materials I'm using. I have to pull out the manual every time to remind myself how to set it up and get it working with my materials. The case is practical, but everything has to fit properly, otherwise it won't close, so there's almost always time to fiddle around. The heat seems to be mostly even, but my other mini press is much more reliable. All in all, this one feels hotter than the other, which I choose to use when it's not quite right. It contains burnt materials that shouldn't be there even if you move the iron a little. This one is also more expensive than my other one. For the price I don't see the appeal but maybe I got a one off piece or I just need simplicity!
