The sensor works well and the fittings match the sensor. A problem that many people have is creating a watertight seal between the fitting and the meter. DO NOT SEAL THE THREAD WITH TEFLON TAPE ETC. COVER! The threads on the gauge and fitting are the same and are designed to be used with an o-ring to create a watertight seal. Simply insert a small O-ring into the fitting and screw on the pressure gauge. (I believe a #011 o-ring is used). You will find that this creates an instant seal even when only hand tightened. The threads on the gauge and fitting are 1/4 NP, but are not tapered and are not designed to seal threads like the more commonly used NPT (National Pipe Tapered). If that makes you feel better, you can always wrap the threads in Teflon tape, but that's entirely optional.
