Made in China but appears to be designed in Germany. Both a Chinese manufacturer and a German technology company are listed on the packaging. I googled this company and it seems to be a startup for developing new innovative technologies. The entire text is presented in German and English and both versions are idiomatically and grammatically correct. In addition, the features are additionally listed in French, Spanish and Italian, so this may be intended for the EU market. So I was impressed by the professional packaging. And so I wasn't surprised when the product itself convinced me. It's well designed, elegant and does what it says on the tin. The case is not slippery like some other reviews said. Given the elegance and design of the product I would expect it to offer good protection but of course this is no Otterbox. The already existing protective film was not attacked, so no problem. I would like to add that I am not involved in this company, I am a computer science professor and was pleased to find a good product, probably developed in Germany by an innovative upstart.
