The concept is good and the solar panel seems to work. It just didn't work well with my Blink camera. Gutters have a different design. 1. I had to modify the mounting bracket to better fit my gutter. 2. Connecting the micro USB power connector to the USB port on the Blink camera was problematic. The connection wasn't secure or closed very well and although the solar panel and cables were secure. A slight movement would turn off the camera. The performance discrepancy prompted me to go back to using batteries instead of a solar panel. Nice concept, but didn't work for me.
