You think it doesn't fit but it does
When I first received the kite I thought it wouldn't fit easily over the valve. I had to remove the valve and then I heated the steam valve under hot water and that made it more valuable and with a flat head screwdriver I was able to install it and it fits nice and tight so no steam comes out from underneath.
