It works with universal outlets, but the tapered tabs will not fit a standard 120V US outlet.
It works with universal outlets, which is what I needed it for, but the tapered tips don't fit far enough into a standard US 120V outlet to take measurements. I need to cut off the tips and attach new wires so I can test American standard outlets. Don't buy standard American sockets to test, it won't work.
