Heavy duty heavy duty car seat cover that can be used as a hammock with all the handles/loops on the front and rear seat headrests or just as a seat cover (hinges only on the backs of the head restraints). It only takes a minute or two to insert one, but it needs to be spread across the entire backseat/seat, not just one seat, making it difficult to fit children and a dog in the backseat. Can't be easily used with dog harnesses either. (You can fiddle around to get it to work, but that also reduces the usefulness of the cover, as you have to remove it from the seat to use the seat belt, exposing the very seats you were hoping to keep hair free to hold.) Fine, but being heavy canvas, the fabric is a real magnet for pet hair - it needs to be machine washed to remove, you can't just shake or roll the hair - what a very odd fabric choice for a dog car seat cover appears . The purpose of the cover for us is to place it on our seats to protect them from the hairy deposits of our Pyr compound. But a short trip with this suitcase, and it's... well, covered in our dog's fur. Having to wash it after EVERY use is far from practical and will definitely shorten the life of this expensive case. It's actually much easier/quicker to simply vacuum a car seat with a handheld vacuum after driving than to cycle it on and off and wash it every trip.
