A rule was recently introduced at my place of work that we must wear hearing protection and no longer listen to music. Some of us decided that we should buy some and use them. A couple of notes: They work very well as hearing protection, but as the listing states, sound quality is not a top priority. They sound like $10 Walmart headphones, which is fine with me, but some people can't hear anything other than professional mixers. Second, and this is most likely just me as I have a mild allergy to latex and sensitive skin, but they do irritate my skin if I wear them for more than 3 hours. I work 12 hour shifts. Overall build quality is solid, they act as functional headphones and hearing protection, and the best part is that none of my bosses have noticed that I still listen to music at work. worth a price of $20.
