I was looking for an alternative rear view camera for our motorhome and came across this model. Based on other reviews and the price (compared to the OEM prep of many RVs) I decided to take a chance. The block works great! We use it as a rearview mirror when towing and it gives you peace of mind knowing what's behind you and when it's safe to change lanes. Also works great on stains. The initial installation requires the owner to connect the device to their camera in close proximity (they will provide a makeshift electrical connector block for this) and then mount the camera on the back of the motorhome. No signal loss issues when towing and I was up to 70mph. I'm a little disappointed that the promised adapters never arrived, but I hardwired the unit to a pre-wired OEM box on the camper. There were no problems, just a 12 volt positive and negative wire and a pair of waterproof crimp connectors. I would eventually like to take advantage of the second camera option and add a camera to aid in connectivity as our tow truck does not have a factory backup camera.
