Good option for cats with allergies

Our newest rescue cat, Abigail, defies all odds. She had skin problems when we got her and after blood work, x-rays and allergy tests we found that not only did she have a lot of allergies but she also lived a pretty sad life. Her back was broken in two places and healed on its own, leaving her spine slightly twisted, but that's another story. She is allergic to canola, salmon, and sunflower oils, making it almost impossible to find food to eat. Not to mention finding one she will eat. On top of that, she's the most special cat we've ever had, but her cuteness is also top-notch. The only dry food she can and will eat is Natural Balance Dry Duck/Pea and although it contains canola oil she is fine. It's the least reprehensible thing we can do to her right now. I wanted her to have more moisture but she fought us with all her might. If she even licks or nibbles on food, we call it a success. That's success. Hopefully one day we'll get them to eat more canned food, but for now we should be happy with any progress we can find. The texture is very wet but she likes it. Once cool, it's easy to cut into small pieces and reheat in the microwave for about 6 or 7 seconds per tablespoon she eats. Hopefully it will increase but as long as it has something to do with it we will keep buying it and think it's a good option for our Abby.
