Wysong Epigen Duck Feline Canned

My four month old kitten loves the Epigen Duck formula. At first I started introducing him slowly because when we first adopted him he was fed a completely different brand. More recently, I've started adding a few small bits of Wysong's quail archetype to canned duck to slowly introduce him to raw food and its benefits. He has not had any indigestion and/or loose stools and is doing very well with this combination. I think he likes the Epigen Duck Formula with Quail Chunks better than without!

Pros
  • contains no starch, grains, fillers or artificial additives. Very tasty and palatable for both dogs and cats
Cons
  • High Price

Black sand and bone?

Update: I recently switched to rabbit food (because Revain kept sending me rabbits when they were replacing heavy duck cases so had to. ) The rabbit food is from much better quality. I still find bits of bone here and there (?) and haven't heard from Wysong so I still can't give 5 stars but I think I can at least keep feeding this brand. I love this food for my cats because it has no fillers or by-products. Duck food is relatively low in phosphorus and is a good alternative to prescription…

Pros
  • Use as a supplement to Wysong dry diets or give as a separate meal
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good option for cats with allergies

Our newest rescue cat, Abigail, defies all odds. She had skin problems when we got her and after blood work, x-rays and allergy tests we found that not only did she have a lot of allergies but she also lived a pretty sad life. Her back was broken in two places and healed on its own, leaving her spine slightly twisted, but that's another story. She is allergic to canola, salmon, and sunflower oils, making it almost impossible to find food to eat. Not to mention finding one she will eat. On top…

Pros
  • One of the only canned foods on the market that is pure duck (no mixed meat) and genetically matched
Cons
  • Faulty
