Bought 3 years ago (Nov 2016) and they've been hanging outside on my fence the whole time. I can't believe they're still blinking! Our home is 3,000 feet in the Sierra foothills and these lanterns have sat outside in the hot bright summer sun and rainstorms and have been buried in the snow. Given my experience with other solar panels, I didn't expect them to last more than a season. They have definitely exceeded my expectations in terms of durability. I remember when I bought these some reviewers talked about how bright the light was. I don't count these bright lights. Didn't expect them to be super bright considering they are sunny. So if you're looking for bright lights that you can actually see from afar, this might not be what you're looking for. Think of it more as a "string of lights" (as in the description).
