I installed this on my 2003 Toyota 4Runner V8 a few weeks ago. I was about to tow a 2000 pound trailer across the country and I wanted to brace the rear of my car before I did it. The airlift worked amazingly and kept my rig straight even after it was coupled to a trailer. Having never pulled that much weight on this vehicle I can't say it performs any better but I'm pretty happy with what I don't know. I walked well 30 pounds of airbag pressure. To be honest the installation was a pain. Based on reading/viewing other setups I decided to cut out the bumpers and put them in the bags, just removing the rear wheels (and the spare) on my car. I didn't have a Sawzall to cut with, so I had to do it with a small handsaw, which took a while. Then the installation of airbags proved to be a problem. One went quite well, but the other was a bit tricky and even required a second pair of hands. I mention this because I'm *almost* sure I've read in several places that it was an "easy" job - but vehicles can be different. Once the bags were in, everything was fine. The hose was easily routed to my rear bumper and I installed the system valve to the electrical connection panel for my trailer. Total installation time is probably 3-4 hours.
