This wireless CarPlay / Android Auto adaptor is a little different in that it has a physical switch to choose Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.The instuctions mention how to update but never gives any detail. End result, you cannot update this adaptor via any provided instructions. Not the end of the world, if it works. Unfortunately for me, it did not.I could cycle the CarPaly / AndroidAuto mode and get it to conenct to my car via CarPlay, but it would never connect via Android Auto. I also could not pair to it via Bluetooth if it was in Android Auto mode. I could only pair tpo it in CarPlay mode which of course did not work. I figured that might let be cheat and connect in AA mode since it was paired. No joy.For me, this adaptor just would not connect to my '20 Toyota RAV4 via Android Auto.
