I love the feel and touch of this wooden massager. When it first surfaced, it had a slightly rough surface. I rinsed it off with water and then wiped it off with a rag. After applying the lotion to my hands and feet, I used the rest of the lotion to apply a thin layer to the massager. After the lotion dried, the massager felt smoother than before. I can smell its faint scent of sandalwood. This is the perfect size for my hand. I love holding it and massaging myself while sitting or driving that I bought another one.
