I bought these for my parents due to California's frequent power outages. These bulbs are good because they fit standard E27 fittings and look like regular bulbs. The only difference is that they continue to work even if the power goes out. I've placed them in several key areas. bathroom, hall and kitchen. This allows my parents to keep moving around the house during a power outage without using candles or flashlights. The lamps are quite bright and there is an included socket to turn the lamps on without plugging them into anything. Because they match the daylight color of my parents' existing lightbulbs, nothing changes for them. Definitely worth getting a few in case the power goes out.
