Great scratches!

Wow! I have a cat that changes her scratching posts every 2 months and I'd rather pay for that than for new furniture! Because I buy these things so often, I was looking for something economical but useful, which meant I didn't need a rug rod or just a foot up. We don't make carpet poles because we don't want cats to scratch the carpet - I mean, our house is carpeted wall to wall and the cat can't tell the difference between the carpeted stairs and its pole! Our cat knows that if she is "rope", ie covered in sisal rope, she can get scratched. Anything else and she'll talk to her. Local pet shops charge a tidy sum for each scratching post, and my local supermarkets didn't stock anything. Received a message today and was pleasantly surprised to find it is much larger than I expected. It is taller at the base and wider than most other pillars. This is a positive as it provides stability if your little furry man goes berserk and decides to knock the pole over by angrily scratching it. The rack measures at least 18 inches at the base and is approximately 2.5 feet tall, which is ideal for tall cats. It's also pretty well built. Installation takes about 30 seconds and they even provide you with a small Allen key to tighten a screw. The base is solid and not folded (other racks have shelves that fold down to save space and are very difficult to assemble). I am amazed at how beautiful it looks. Carpet is softer than carpet, which is also a plus. I have to say that's a lot. My cat loves it, it's better than most other scratching posts I've bought over the years and it's at a really good price. You won't be disappointed and neither will your cat!
