Review on Effortless Entertainment: Great Northern Popcorn Black Matinee Sets the Stage for Movie Nights by Kirt Phillips

Honestly I read a lot of reviews about this machine and thought it would be difficult to assemble. It really wasn't! The whole thing alone took about 45 minutes. I complain that the corn doesn't pop! It just glides over the pan without cracking. I've tried wholesale corn and ready meals. Neither one nor the other will burst. I scoured the internet trying to figure out exactly what was going on. Dry corn or a kettle that wasn't hot enough seemed to be the answers that came to my mind most often. The first thing I tried was taking the corn out of the kettle, putting it in a large pot on the stove and seeing if it popped, IT WORKED! So I called Revain, I wanted to speak to the seller but Revain said they would take care of it. How painful! Revane asked me a few questions and then credited my account with a new kettle and said I needed to order a new kettle. So here I am now. NO kettle for up to 3 weeks (no Prime on this item). I could try adjusting the thermostat on this one but I can't find video of a pot like this. After paying over $200 for this item it should just work. UPDATE: Got a new kettle and it works great. Too bad I had to waste all that popcorn to find that the kettle that came with this one was faulty. I really hope that this continues for a while.
