I used these connectors on 10mm LED strips I used to convert fluorescent lights in my camper van. They're simple, fast, and work like a charm. I had no problems. The connections were positive on the first try. This is the best option for this type of project. No need to try soldering wires to these thin LED strips. Just FYI, I used the tip of a pocket knife to slightly pry open the connector tabs to make it easier to slide the end of the LED strip under the tabs. I also used a pocket knife to gently scrape the brass buttons to a clean, shiny condition before inserting the strip and snapping the connector into place. A piece of cake.
