Very good scanners. They work right out of the box. Just plug them into a USB port. I didn't have to change any settings, although it comes with a booklet that lets you customize the units of measurement to your liking (e.g. auto reading or triggered reading). All three devices were installed in a pharmacy where they need to read various barcodes, postal codes, prescription codes, drug codes, package codes, book codes and even phone and internet account codes. All I can say is that they have never made a mistake and everyone is happy. They work so well that you actually forget about them. They have mixed with the working stream and just exist lol. Don't worry about codes being read or not. They look like quality construction to me. They don't have that plastic toy exterior. :) Definitely I would recommend it to anyone who wants a truly hassle free scanner. Where we use them, they've never misread the barcode.
