It's been a year and a couple months that we've been using eight of these bowls. they have surpassed all our expectations. no visible wear and tear at all. One of the nicest things about them is they fit PERFECTLY in the bottom rack of the dishwasher (GE Monogram). They are the perfect size for pasta, chili, soup, rice dishes, etc. The only things we don't use them for are cereal and ice cream. They are just a bit too large for those portion sizes. Unless you eat half a gallon of ice cream at a time. But then one wouldn't need a bowl anyway.
