Review on 🚑 Rothco EMT First Responder Medical: Ultimate Aid for Emergency Situations by Josh Sharp

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good quality but poor design

I was conflicted about this review. As a bag, it's relatively good quality for the price. I wouldn't recommend this for a pro (ambulance/paramedic) but it could be good for your little league or soccer team. The zippers and seams are ok, the strap is ok. It even comes with dividers, but the problem is that it doesn't have a hard floor insert. The bottom of the bag is made of the same material that the entire bag is made of, and since the baffles aren't attached to a hard floor, anything that fits in any space has a good chance of slipping out and getting tangled up. For a few bucks more they could add a hard bottom and a way to attach velcro dividers to it. That is the difference. How I review: When I review a product it automatically gets four stars as I rarely buy anything below four stars. I then add and/or subtract stars based on certain criteria listed below.1. When an item meets my expectations and no more, it gets four stars2. If the product exceeds my expectations, it gets one star (5 stars)3. If an item doesn't meet my expectations, it loses one star (3 stars)4. If the directions for a product (if required) are poorly written (difficult to understand due to language or grammar issues) or just too difficult to follow, she loses a star if the product meets or exceeds my expectations5. If the product is significantly below my expectations, I deduct two stars6. I rarely give a product one star because I mostly buy products with a 4+ rating, but on rare occasions there can be a good reason why even a four star product gets a one star rating from me. This may be due to customer service issues on the company's part, but in any case I will clearly explain why I am giving the product only one star.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
