LOVE MY JUG! WATER IS DELICIOUS!

Let me start by saying that I was looking for 1. a glass water container and 2. a filter that will keep tap water fresh. My old Brita couldn't keep up with our municipal tap water because of an old activated carbon filter. I didn't want to buy bottled water, use plastic, or make plastic problems worse on Earth. I started with a small 10 ounce pH-R water bottle, it worked for me and now sits on my nightstand (though too small, it was good for testing the product line). elegant design and feel. I keep it at the end of the coffee table where I work. The water tastes great and reminds me of the pleasant smell of water after rain. Also, my stomach doesn't bother me like it does after drinking overly chlorinated tap water. I love how the handle feels and the spout pours nicely into the glass. Functional and decorative. The glass seems fragile but this is the only one I use and I am very careful. The lid fits well and doesn't fall off easily. I like that it has a lid and dust/cat hair doesn't get in. My only complaint is that there has to be a better way to tell when you need to change the filter. A small application would be helpful: enter the size of the device, the number of users, the amount drunk per day or per week and get the number of weeks/months you want the filter to run at that rate . According to the instructions, I don't drink 8 cups a day from this device alone, so I had to do some math. By the way, I don't buy those Ionian things, and that's not why I bought the jug. I have the feeling that our body takes care of the pH of our blood. However, it cannot do any harm. I only care about the taste of the water, that my stomach is okay and that I use glass and do NOT add plastic to the environment. I plan to buy a second 64 oz soon for another space I work in. Although you could just add a filter to the water jug you already have.
