I have used several different seat covers and I have to say this is the best I have found. On the plus side: - it's waterproof - the hammock style keeps my elderly dog from falling on the floor - the hammock style also protects my floor from lots of dog hair and gravel - the base has a non-slip backing that keeps the lid off, over mine Leather seats to slide. The only thing that would make this cover perfect would be if they added a piece of fabric to the base on either side so it hangs on the side of the seat. This protects the edge of my seat when the dogs jump in the car. I may decide to sew it up for myself, but it would be amazing if it was already there. I drive a 2014 Nissan Altima and it's only a few inches less than covering the entire seat from side to side. Overall, this is the best case I've found. I highly recommend it.
