This seat cover looks good and works well. I bought this cover for my 2014 MINI Countryman and it fits me very well. My MINI has bucket seats with molded bolsters on either side of the seat. The seat cover fits well and curves nicely to blend into the bolsters very smoothly. The size of the cover is almost perfect for the MINI seat (ie the cover does not droop at the edges and is not too narrow/short to fully cover the entire seat). As a result, the cover looks as if it could be part of a factory-installed seat and conveys a sporty style. Just looking at the case, you really can't tell that it's an extra case (it looks more built-in). It perfectly matches the color of my MINI seats (I bought a black cover). The texture/pattern on the seat cover also matches very well. The seat cover is very non-slip so that the cover does not slip. If you pull your butt down too far when getting into a car, sometimes the very edge of the cover (on the upholstery) can catch on your jeans/pants and fold over. However, if you climb up and don't lazily drag your butt along, there shouldn't be any problems. Aside from the occasional folding, the seat cover is very secure as it is attached with two cords/tabs at the back of the seat and one cord/hook at the front of the seat. Again, it doesn't slip at all. The disadvantages of the seat cover are minimal. The first thing I notice is that my heated MINI seat doesn't feel that hot with the seat cover on; However, it still gets quite warm (just not hot). For me, living in Arizona, this is not a big problem, but if you like heated seats in winter, you probably won't feel the same effect with the seat cover installed (the heated backrest works, of course). without change). However, I have to say that in the summer months with the seat cover fitted, the ventilation is better (than with just a MINI seat). Since the MINI synthetic leather is not very breathable, my MINI seat got really sweaty in summer weather. However, with the seat cover installed, ventilation and breathability is much better thanks to the vents/mesh on most covers. The seat cover keeps the ride cooler and airier during the summer months. Now back to the cons. Second, the two tabs that hold the seat cover on the back of the seat are white, which is very noticeable compared to my black seat color. I wish the lugs were black too to blend in with the color of my seat (instead of contrasting so drastically - I could use black marker or some spray paint on the lugs!). However, I love this cover so much that I am planning to buy another one for the passenger seat. It provides excellent protection from the sun, wear and tear and also prevents further damage to my MINI seat where one of the cushions has developed a small tear.
