This bracket is designed in such a way that it only fits on older bikes with a steel frame and a narrow rear triangle. (Trek Antelope 800 if you want an example). It will not fit every aluminum framed bike at all as the triangle is different. Unless you have a standard steel frame with thin rear triangular tubes, don't buy one unless you can make your own mount. I was able to make a bracket to mount the motor on my bike and I will say the 450w motor has plenty of torque! I wish it was 48v but I was able to install 3 regular 7ah lead acid batteries to get 36v and I can go about 10 miles without pedaling and I weigh about 200lbs.
