Great coat but runs small

Nice coat, but too big. I bought a size 8 but it looks more like a size 10. However, I can say that it is really waterproof and windproof. My kid wore it to go sledding during a big snow party and actually said it was too hot in his coat and it was 28 degrees outside. They stayed dry and warm.
