(5000 Kelvin) Finally-- not too yellow, not too blue!

I was looking for a replacement for the annoying bright bluish fluorescent bulbs that came with the pendant light, but the various bulbs I tried (Halogena, GE Reveal, etc.) were too yellow and underpowered. That temperature of 5,000 Kelvin seemed ideal - pure white light, nice and bright, but still not as blue as some fluorescent lights (which another reviewer noted would be good in a workshop environment). Finally the Goldilocks lightbulb! Note that they are larger than standard bulbs (but you already knew that since they say "globe"). They are well suited for hanging (hanging) ceiling lights. I suppose you could use warmer tones for the vanity mirror like the previous reviewer did, but the base is quite thick so they stick out more - and unless you're sitting in front of the vanity mirror all day it seems more expensive . For me it is effective to use fluorescent lamps for lighting that burns more hours a day. In any case, this is a good lightbulb if you're looking for a sphere that's bright white (not yellow) but not too blue.
