Incredible value for money.

full manual focus is very easy to use. It takes just over half a turn to go from infinity to close focus. Takes sharp pictures, at full aperture (F2.8) the depth of field is very shallow. At 60mm (90mm FF=) it can be used but is barely fully open. Buy a tripod. Handshakes are incredibly enhanced even at a fast shutter speed. I have hand held blur even at 1/250 with the X-T4 with IBIS enabled. Not much, but the best place for 1:1 portables is 1/250 or faster on the X-T4. Haven't tried it with a non-IBIS camera yet, I have an X-T30 and I suspect using a handheld would take around 1/500th. But even a weak tripod and a self-timer with a 2-second delay will do the trick. From F4 to F8 the lens gets really sharp and very comfortable to use with no vignetting that I can find. The lens hood looks like it's barely out of frame, and when removed from the lens at infinity focus; You can see the unsealed parts inside. This lens can have trouble getting anything in since nothing is sealed. Leaving the hood on the lens makes access to the internal moving parts difficult. But the hood looks a little ridiculous.
