Quality alarm and bike finder.

The kit consists of 2 alarm systems that are individually packaged. I've tested both and both work fine. This accurate alarm system is sold under different brand names but they are all the same and come in the same packaging, sometimes with a different brand sticker over the original brand. I don't care what brand it is as long as it works. I'm sure they are all made in the same place. After charging the alarm units, they immediately started working with the remote controls already paired with the alarm. The remote control has a large lock button, a small unlock button and a button to change the alarm. The last button is like a bell and there are 3 different sounds to choose from. This differs from an alarm clock, which is similar to car alarms, which play different signals in sequence and change every few seconds. It's useful for finding your bike when you've parked it in an area with a lot of bikes and forgot where you left it. If someone picks it up, you can also use it to find it if the person hasn't strayed far from the remote control. An alarm cannot prevent your bike or scooter from being stolen, but if someone tries to pick the lock or tamper with your car, a loud alarm will sound and in most cases they will run away without being caught. It won't work every time, but at least it's something and it works well. The alarm is attached to the handlebars or other bar of the bike, you can try to hide it by placing it high up on the seat post. Sensitivity is adjustable, going from extremely sensitive to alarming when you barely touch it. You really have to shake the bike for it to work. The battery in the alarm clock is built in and is charged via a USB cable, while the remote control uses a standard button cell battery. Not a bad alarm for the price, although it may seem cheap. It's reliable for me and I use it every time I lock my bike to give me a little extra security when I go shopping or when I'm away from my bike for a while. Never had a false alarm, which is good. If you get false positives, simply lower the sensitivity. I have 2 bikes so I installed one for each. If you really want to confuse thieves, you can attach both alarms to the same bike and hide one of them so they take longer to find it. It's a bit of an exaggeration, but it can help deter someone who wasn't expecting a second alarm that would draw more attention to them. The alarm clock is very loud and it's important to set the sensitivity so it doesn't ring constantly because it's really annoying. I don't get many false alarms and overall I'm very happy with these little alarm systems.
