I first bought these from Revain in November 2016. I liked them because the 90 degree connector helps them last longer and no earbuds ever break. They lasted a long time (for me) and I only had to buy them 3 times. Not bad for cheaper headphones. However, when I bought them for the third time, something was wrong. The sound is low and distant. Thought it might just be a defect. But no, if I take the cable to the earbud and compare it to my old ones, these new ones are much lighter and more flexible. I have no idea what that means, but the quality has dropped a lot. They seem almost identical to my old ones (which are obviously a bit dirtier) but the old ones are much heavier and sturdier. The old ones sound much better and have a richer and more complex tone compared to the sound quality. I'm returning this latest purchase fearing I've either been scammed or Sony was hoping we wouldn't notice a loss in quality. I know it's a small change, but it's mean. I hope I can exchange them and get the same headphones as the old model. I really liked her :(
