We cut strips of this film to stick on our sliding glass doors at half eye level so people don't think the doors are open and walk in. Works great and the effect is elegantly attractive compared to the stickers. Update: The high-quality film has held up flawlessly since it was installed on our sliding glass doors a few months ago. There were no blisters or peeling at all. Better still, nobody tried to go through the doors thinking they were open when they weren't because the sight of the stripes tells them the doors are closed. No more headbutting or embarrassed guests. Hooray! We are going to sell our house and move to another one that also has glass shelves. Peeling these strips off the sliders was neither tedious nor time consuming and left no residue. Very easy. I wrapped each strip around a cardboard tube for use in our next home. I expect them to be even easier to apply since they don't need to be re-trimmed or the backing removed. I just clean the glass, apply some soapy water and smooth it out. The quality of this slide is such that I think I can use it in many future homes. And we still love the elegant pattern. This is a classic. Now I'm looking at other film samples made by the same company so I can buy more film to put on the outside of clear shower doors to provide privacy while still letting light through. It is great!
