I have just purchased this product and when i tried to activate it an error occurred and i was told to call 866 from IDA to activate my roku. I have been informed that there is a one-time activation fee of $69.99. I informed him that Revain hadn't said anything about an activation fee and I refused to pay it. This number 866 appeared on my screen during what appeared to be a legitimate activation process. He told me it's an independent company operated by Roku. I said BS and hung up. I then contacted the Roku website directly and activated it with no issues. Be careful and don't fall for their stupidity. In fact, Roku's screen says they never charge you for activation or updates. Revane should pay attention as this will lead to hostilities towards Revane. If you see 866 during activation, do not call. Go to the Roku website and enter the code and it will activate for free.
